It can become a city divided by fear and inequality or a model of shared life.
At Kulna Yaffa, we have chosen the second path: bringing Arab and Jewish residents together through community action, local leadership, and hope. Your support helps turn this vision into reality.

Our Impact

Thanks to our work, we have helped prevent the eviction of residents from homes classified as absentee property, advanced housing justice, and led meaningful public advocacy.

Together with nonprofit organizations, businesses, and volunteers, we provide food assistance to families in need
and help dozens of families access the rights and benefits to which they are entitled.

Through our joint Arab-Jewish Community Safety Patrol, which has recruited and trained approximately 4,000 volunteers, we have helped maintain calm and personal safety throughout Jaffa neighborhoods and de-escalated hundreds of incidents since October 7.

Many additional initiatives are carried out by Arab and Jewish residents working side by side, strengthening trust, fostering cooperation, and building a shared future for the entire community.

Create opportunities for Arab and Jewish children, youth, and families
to learn, meet, and grow together.
Reduce violence and strengthen community resilience during times of stability, tension, and crisis.
Provide food assistance and essential support to families facing
hardship.
Advance equal opportunity, civic participation, and local leadership.
Develop innovative models of shared society that can be implemented
in mixed cities across Israel and around the world.
Establish a first-of-its-kind heritage center showcasing Jaffa rich and diverse history.
Organize an annual international conference positioning Jaffa as a
global model for a shared city.
Lead a broad civic coalition demonstrating, day after day, that Jaffa can be a safe, equal, and thriving home for all who live here.
We initiate and carry out many additional activities jointly by Arab and Jewish residents.

Our work for equality, justice, and Arab-Jewish partnership takes place on the streets of Jaffa but its impact reaches far beyond the city, contributing to the national conversation about conversation about Israel shared future.
