Annual Conference for shared and Mixed Cities
Its goal is not only dialogue, but the creation of a multi-year process of measurement, evaluation, and real-world impact.
Conference
An Annual Conference for shared and Mixed Cities in Jaffa connecting civil society, municipal leadership, academia, and social organizations to advance shared living.
Its goal is not only dialogue, but the creation of a multi-year process of measurement, evaluation, and real-world impact.
An international conference will take place annually, serving as a key milestone in evaluating Jaffa’s progress as a shared city.
It will be built on broad partnerships between civil society organizations, the Tel Aviv–Jaffa Municipality, and academic institutions, jointly leading processes of measurement, learning, and policy implementation.
The academic component will support the development of tools for evaluating shared society, while the municipality will play a key role in implementation on the ground. By connecting knowledge, policy, and community action, the conference will become a driving force in positioning Jaffa as a global model for mixed cities.
The conference structure will include plenary sessions, diverse panels, and facilitated working groups—ensuring both conceptual depth and practical continuity. Unlike one-time events, the conference will function as a working platform: presenting metrics, processes, and outcomes, alongside defining goals for the year ahead.
