Community crisis support
Through partnerships with aid organizations and municipal welfare departments
We support residents facing hardship in accessing their rights and rebuilding their lives. We act as a bridge between vulnerable populations and institutions, while also providing immediate socio-economic assistance—improving food security, supporting single mothers who have lost their livelihoods (often in contexts of discrimination), and supplying essential needs for infants and young children. Our work focuses especially on marginalized populations at heightened risk during times of crisis.
Our Impact
Food assistance partnerships
We linked ‘Latet’ food bank with community based organizations in Jaffa. The assistance supports 300 families in Jaffa on a weekly basis through two community based NGOs
Support vulnerable mothers
Supported 50 families, mostly single mothers with diapers and baby food for 6 months following loss of their work and livelihood during the war. Resources for the assistance were raised from local businesses in Jaffa
Realization of Rights
Supported 70 families with the application for municipal food assistance vouchers. The majority of the families are now receiving vouchers regularly
Ad-hoc support
Provided temporary food assistance to families in acute need
Role of the Organization
Providing community interventions during times of crisis by building powerful coalitions that link grassroots CBOs with national NGOs, ensuring rapid-response aid and resources reach the ground effectively.
